Senior Squad - Women

The previous season for the BUBC Women has been successful, with a strong performance at BUCS Regatta and Henley Women’s Regatta. However, in the past year, results have been plateauing, with the hard work of each member not reflected in the overall result. The recent appointment of a new Head of Rowing has reignited the desire to succeed, with a shared vision of BUBC becoming a name to be reckoned with.

Looking ahead to the 2024/25 season, the goal is to hit the ground running, with a performance-driven programme forming a strong platform to build upon over the coming months and deliver big results at Henley Women’s and BUCS Regatta in the Intermediate and Academic categories. We also plan to accomplish our multi-year goal of qualifying an eight for Henley Royal Regatta to race against international crews and the UK’s very best.

As Women’s Captain, my personal goal for this season is to foster a supportive and positive culture, where all women feel they can reach their full potential by buying into the shared vision of the squad, enabling athletes to contribute to BUBC’s success and fuelling our growth and future achievements.
